CONCEPT STATEMENTÂ
This room is inspired by nature and natural curves, like the ripples in water or circles in tree trunks. The space is designed to create a feeling of relaxation and escape the reality of the world. The soft neutral colour palette with splashes of deep brown in furniture pieces and the brick will be used with curved walls to create a unique space fit for Rick Owens. The use of soft curved lines throughout the space creates the sense of ongoing peace in a natural cave. The sculpture and chair placed on either side of the Tv will show a sense of structure juxtaposing to the freedom of the curses around. An angulating wall covered in venetian plaster will be used to separate the ensuite from the bedroom; however, using the curved wall will allow the space to still feel open, this was inspired by the architectural triptych image.
